Job Overview

We are seeking 3 passionate and driven Investment Advisors to join a dynamic Startup team. This role will be focused on new client acquisition, cross selling, building and maintaining a book of business.

Requirements:

University Degree or college diploma; Minimum 7 months of investment/financial advisor experience in commercial/corporate banking or in investment/financial firm; You have minimum 7 months of outbound sales experience and are comfortable earning 100% commission; Proven ability to meet or exceed targets and KPIs; Completion of Canadian Securities Course (CSC) is an asset, or willingness to complete this course; You have a passion for financial planning and a keen interest in portfolio management; Strong analytical mindset and detailed-oriented; Able to handle multiple tasks and priorities effectively; Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage diverse audiences; Excellent time management skills, ability to work independently towards deadlines

Nice to have:

Experience with CRM; Experience in a marketing role; Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); Passionate about the Finance sector and the FX, crypto, stocks markets; A book of clients (including High-Net-Worth Individuals, Business Owners) with a value at least 3 Million CAD

Responsibilities:

Handle 70+ outgoing calls per day, as well as handle incoming inquiries via phone, email and SMS, as well as occasionally face-to-face in the office or event places; Answer Client questions concerning Startup's products and services; Provide support for Customers; Attend and contribute to investment meetings; Document all Client communications in CRM; Provide proactive client service with a focus on problem resolution and attention to details. Liaise with various departments for execution, where necessary; Respond to client inquiries (account transactions, requests for tax reporting, account reporting, etc.); Able to attend local and international events

Working conditions:

Remote or Hybrid Remote or Onsite (Toronto, ON); At the beginning is mostly part-time job, it's possible full-time job; Currently the startup is without an office, that's why we wrote work location: on the road; Travel may be required for meetings; Eligibility to work in Canada: At this time, we welcome applications from candidates eligible to work in Canada.
