Our Canadian operation, Canaccord Genuity Corp., is currently looking for an experienced Investment Advisor Assistant to join our Wealth Management team in Kelowna.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist Investment Advisor with processing and confirming client transactions;
  • Deal directly with all clients, provide quotes and execute trading orders;
  • Maintain client accounts, compile statistical information and create reports;
  • Assist in marketing initiatives;
  • Process and follow-up on client documentation for proper maintenance of accounts;
  • Assist with servicing existing clients;
  • Assist in upcoming and current projects;
  • Perform various administrative duties as required.
Skills & Qualifications:
  • Completion of or pursuing CSC and CPH is preferred;
  • Well-rounded knowledge of securities industry;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Excellent organizational skills, with a strong attention to detail;
  • Professional, responsible and ability to work independently;
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and multi-task;
  • Ability to work with employees and clients at all levels is essential;
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative;
  • Interest in wealth management is required;
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills: good working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs;
  • Knowledge of Dataphile, Salesforce and Envestnet is an asset;
  • Candidates must be willing to learn other financial tools and systems.
