We are seeking a talented Investment Administrator to work in our Ottawa head office on a hybrid basis. The primary purpose of this position is to provide support to the Finance team and the Vice-President Sales - Funds with investor-related tasks and filings.
Reporting to the Senior Controller, the Investment Administrator will be responsible for investor-related reporting, regulatory filings, reviewing subscription agreements, and maintaining accurate records in our Exempt Market Dealer software.
Skills & Experience
Minimum of 4 years experience in financial/investor transaction processing and related customer service.
A post-secondary diploma/degree ideally in Commerce, Business Administration or related experience required.
Excellent analytical, communication and organizational skills
Problem solver with an ability to multi-task
Team player with a positive approach to collaborate with colleagues, open to taking additional tasks to support the vision to achieve overall corporate goals and objectives.
Experience in Mortgage lending is an asset.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Manage pipeline of new purchases and review direct and indirect investor sub-agreements to ensure completeness and accuracy.
Prepare monthly reports to trustees, investors, and advisors.
Prepare compliance filings with the Ontario Securities Commission and other regulatory bodies.
Enter and review investor purchases and redemptions in Exempt Market Dealer software.
Effectively communicate with investors, advisors, and other parties to assist inquiries as needed.
General administrative duties such as saving documents, relevant investor information, and account changes.
Manage inbound and outbound calls and emails.
Other duties as assigned.
