Job Description

J.D. Irving CNB Woodlands Division, is a leader in East Coast forestry and forest products industry known for its commitment to quality products, service, and sound environmental management.

Our team is currently seeking a Student to join us as an Inventory System Assistant at our Deersdale Garage in Deersdale, NB for an 8-month co-op term. This role will support an inventory system process improvement initiative. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to take ownership of this project, gaining hands-on experience in logistics, process optimization, and inventory management. They will also collaborate closely with technicians and suppliers throughout the term.

Assess current inventory system and document inefficiencies. Redesign and reorganize stockroom layout; implement standardized labeling. Identify and add new inventory items with proper labeling. Audit system and prepare final report with recommendations.

Enrolled in a post-secondary program (Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, etc). Organized, analytical, and comfortable with physical tasks. Familiar with inventory software or eager to learn. * Strong communication and documentation skills.
