Inventory Stock Clerk

We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented and personable individual to join our team as an Inventory Stock Clerk. In this role, you will be responsible for receiving a range of supplies and equipment into the organization (with a focus on wireless products), checking for order accuracy of the goods received, monitoring and tracking wireless inventory, and assisting internal and external stakeholders with shipping and stock enquiries.

This is a multi faceted role that includes, but is not limited, to the following:
  • Receiving, reviewing, organizing and distributing supplies and equipment to internal and external stakeholders
  • Tracking and closing Purchase Orders, which involves working closely with our Procurement team
  • Checking, preparing and entering a variety of data for stock received and issued into our inventory records system
  • Performing stock taking and inventory management audits
  • Tracking the status of requisitions and purchase orders, following up on changes, deliveries, back-orders, identifying problems and resolving minor discrepancies including delayed delivery and shipment issues
  • Liaising with freight and shipping companies, as well as picking and packing products for delivery.
WHAT YOU\'LL NEED
  • Completion of Grade 12 supplemented by sound related experience and preferably courses in logistics and inventory maintenance
  • Knowledge of shipping, receiving and inventory control policies and procedures
  • Previously experience working with electronics or technical inventory would be especially advantageous
  • The ability to perform shipping, receiving and inventory maintenance activities
  • Experience preparing and maintaining computerized records
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with a variety of internal and external contacts and to communicate effectively orally and in writing.

SECURITY CLEARANCE:

As a condition of employment at E-Comm, the required Police Security Clearance applicable to the position must be acquired and maintained. This is a process carried out by our law enforcement partner agencies, facilitated by E-Comm.

The minimum residency in Canada to qualify for this position, as established by our law enforcement partner agencies, is roughly 3 to 5 years.

To qualify for this process, a candidate may be either a Canadian Permanent Resident or Canadian Citizen. We regret any candidates under Student, Visitor, or Work Visas are not eligible for consideration.

VACCINATION POLICY:

E-Comm 911 has a vaccination policy that is currently suspended. However, should the policy be reinstated, it will be a requirement for all current and future employees.
