Brimich is a family owned and operated 3PL & warehousing company. We are a growing organization and currently looking for passionate and motivated Inventory Specialists to join our winning team at our new Etobicoke facility.

• Day shift: Monday-Friday, 7am-3pm
• Afternoon shift: Monday-Friday, 3-11pm

Position Summary: The Inventory Specialist will provide direct support to the Inventory Supervisor by executing inventory projects and counts and identifying areas of improvement to improve our customer experience and minimize warehouse/logistic issues. Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

• Conduct Cycle Count inventory processes to ensure accuracy and timely execution
• Schedule categories for Cycle Count inventory and maintain strict records
• Oversee and evaluate stock rotation procedures
• Maintain adequate storage for warehouse and on-site inventory
• Maintain and evaluate inventory records on a quarterly basis
• Provide input/insight to product dating and create procedures to eliminate loss
• Create an efficient space utilization plan
• Notify management of shortages or other problems that could impact product availability
• Instruct staff on proper procedures for locating and utilizing product inventory
• Check bulk orders for accuracy and quality prior to shipment

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills with strong attention to detail
• Strong mathematical skills with a proven ability to problem solve

• Ability to work both independently and lead a team.

• Strong aptitude in MS Office applications (esp. Excel), Warehouse & Inventory Management
• Reach Operator trained

• Able to work weekends on occasion (for off-hour physical counts)
• Ability to lift 30-50lbs and to stand throughout the day

Education and Training

• Minimum high school diploma or G.E.D. College diploma in Logistics Management an asset
• Minimum of 1-year experience in warehouse management and inventory control with experience in a 3PL environment preferred
• Willingness to attend and participate in training and development programs as required
