Inventory Specialist (Demand Planner)

Do you want to play a key role in the development of demand planning process improvements? Reporting to Manager, Demand Planning, you will support LCBO\xe2\x80\x99s planning initiatives through effective implementation and maintenance of centralized demand forecasting processes and systems for our supply chain network

About the Role

Create and manage short- and long-term demand forecasts to help optimize inventory levels for all channels of LCBO\xe2\x80\x99s supply network

Continuously improve demand planning KPIs on Forecast Accuracy and Bias by adopting best practices and identifying root cause through detailed analyses.

Design, develop and maintain metrics dashboards and reports

Liaise with Inventory management, Supply Chain Strategy, Fulfillment, IT teams and subject matter experts to leverage capabilities of existing ERP system and other planning tools

About You

3+ years of experience in Demand forecasting and planning, Supply Chain planning or Business analytics

Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Statistics or equivalent experience

Excellent analytical, statistical, and organizational skills with expertise in MS Excel, Power BI

SQL, R or Python experience desirable

Strong mathematical, reasoning, and problem-solving skills

Self-starter and proactive

Able to balance high volume workload and short timelines with an extraordinary attention to detail

Effective communication (verbal and written), sound problem solving abilities and effective organizational skills
