We are looking for an accountable and data driven Inventory Specialist. The ideal candidate is a proactive and detail-oriented individual who can manage multiple priorities and ensure our inventory is accurately tracked and reported.


The role will be reporting into our Inventory & Warehouse Manager and will be based in Delta, BC. This is an opportunity to continue your career in a high growth and fast paced company.

Responsibilities:



Perform biweekly and monthly inventory counts for designated areas, targeting 100% accuracy for both biomass and consumables, across all Rubicon's sites. Generate reports for the Finance team as required. Conduct and reconcile scheduled cycle counts (daily, weekly, bi-weekly, quarterly), across all Rubicon's sites. Coordinate quarterly and annual inventory counts, across all Rubicon's sites. Count, sort, weight, and unpack materials as needed. Perform daily cycle counts as per schedule, across all Rubicon's sites. Generate pick reports, physically pick, and allocate consumables/biomass for production, and communicate any issues upstream. Coordinate and manage inventory movements in D365, ensuring no downtime for production and maintaining inventory accuracy across all locations, including 3PL sites. Balance digital inventory discrepancies: If finished goods (FGs) are recorded in a different location, balance inventory accordingly, ensuring consistency without adding or adjusting quantities across multiple locations. Troubleshoot missing items for Production: When specific items (e.g., biomass bags) are unavailable for production, collaborate with the Warehouse Coordinator to resolve the issue, rather than reallocating another batch from Order Fulfillment (OF). Ensure data integrity when processing inventory movements, adjustments, and reconciliations in D365, across all Rubicon's sites. Identify and implement strategies to optimize inventory levels, reduce stockouts and minimize overstock, across all Rubicon's sites. Work closely with Production, Procurement, and Finance teams to streamline inventory management and resolve operational issues, across all Rubicon's sites. Other related activities as per business demand, when required.

Requirements:



Minimum of 1 year experience within a supply chain, warehouse, or operations setting Previous cannabis industry, greenhouse agricultural operations, manufacturing or pharmaceuticals experience is a strong advantage. Previous experience with Elevated Signals and/or ERP software (MS D365) is not mandatory but a strong advantage. Knowledge in MS Office, expertise in Excel and Database applications. This is a mandatory requirement, please do not apply if you are not proficient in Microsoft Excel. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining greater attention to detail. Experience in participating in inventory counts. Strong work ethic, resilience, professionalism, reliability, ownership, and accountability. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, with advanced knowledge of formulas, pivot tables, data base, and data analysis.
