Hiring for Day Shift (Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm), Afternoon Shift (Monday-Friday, 3pm-11pm), and Weekend Shift (Friday-Monday, 7am-5pm) positions.

Job Summary Statement:



The Inventory Specialist will provide direct support to the Inventory Coordinator through executing inventory projects and counts and identifying areas of improvement to improve our Customer experience and minimize warehouse/logistic issues.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:



Conduct root cause analysis of issues that arise in the warehouse. Assist in Database Management / Controls to maintain inventory accuracy and ensure correct stock rotation. Audit and provide commentary in relation to count back discrepancies/errors. Provide insight / investigate all misplaced inventory within 24 hours, missing pallets and inventory discrepancies. Execute full inventory audits at customers' request to maintain 99.9% inventory accuracy. Support and refine the damage reporting process to mitigate loss and ensure SQF requirements are met. Provide on-demand support/reports to customers when required. Execute inventory adjustments to keep inventory accuracy high - with clear communication internally about the changes being made. Provide high-level support & communication internally to all departments. Process HOLD and RELEASE requests from the customer in an accurate and timely manner.

Job Specifications--Skills and Competencies:



Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail with the ability to problem solve. Ability to work both independently and in a team. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Strong aptitude in MS Office applications (esp. Excel), Warehouse & Inventory Management Able to work weekends on occasion (for off-hour physical counts) Willingness to learn and adapt. Ability to stand continuously throughout the day and able to lift 30-50lbs as required. Willing to work in multi-temperature environments with ability to tolerate short periods of exposure to freezer temperatures (-20?C) as required or assigned. Ability to travel to multiple facilities within Brantford.

D. Education & Training Requirements



College diploma in Logistics Management an asset with minimum of 1 years' experience in warehouse management and inventory control experience in a 3PL environment preferred. Willingness to attend and participate in training and development programs as required. Reach Operator trained or willingness to be trained on required equipment.
