Job Description



This position plays a crucial role in maintaining smooth inventory operations, from receiving and quality control to storage and order fulfillment, ensuring products are readily available and promptly shipped. By managing inventory effectively, they help streamline processes, prevent wastage, and enhance customer satisfaction. Moreover, their meticulous approach contributes to cost reduction, supports working capital management, and fosters revenue growth, making them an essential component of the company's overall success.

Key Responsibilities



Determine method of shipment and arrange shipping; prepare bills of lading, customs forms, invoices and other shipping documents manually or by computer Assemble containers and crates, record contents manually or by computer, pack goods to be shipped and affix identifying information and shipping instructions Oversee loading and unloading of goods from trucks or other conveyances Receive, inspect and verify the accuracy of incoming shipments and quality of received goods Document discrepancies, damages, or shortages and report to the appropriate personnel Maintain accurate inventory records through manual and computerized systems, including assisting document control for required documentation Organize and categorize inventory items for efficient storage and retrieval Conduct regular physical counts and reconcile inventory with recorded data Ensure that received products meet quality standards Implement quality checks and report any non-conforming items for further action Follows company HSE and QA/QC policies and procedures Supports and/or participates in the organization's continuous improvement program- Quality and ISO 9000 (QS as appropriate), API Q1 & API Q2, API 16 RCD Operate forklift, hand truck or other equipment to load, unload, transport and store goods

Qualifications



High attention to detail Excellent communication (written and verbal), analytical, and interpersonal skills Ability to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines Technical - ability to implement mechanical knowledge and skills Knowledge of mechanical tools and equipment Knowledge of quality control requirements 2+ years of Inventory Experience Previous experience in shipping and receiving Valid Driver's License Computer Skills.
