Position: Inventory Supervisor
Location: Mississauga

Our client in the manufacturing industry is looking to add a high-performing and experienced Inventory Supervisor to join their team in Mississauga.

The main responsibility of the Inventory Supervisor is to offer the necessary leadership, guidance, and oversight for the entire inventory operations, encompassing supply planning, warehousing, and logistics. design, optimize and implement inventory processes and systems.

Responsibilities include:

- Design and implement an inventory tracking system to optimize inventory
control procedures
- Identify any tasks or processes that could be streamlined or automated within the system
- Explore the system\'s reporting capabilities to extract valuable insights for decision-making
- Customize options available within the system that could be utilized to better align it with your specific inventory management needs
- Conduct training sessions for the team on the proper use of the system
- Handle data backups and system updates
- Be responsible for Daily Cycle Count program to ensure physical inventory accuracy and optimization storage capacity
- Lead inventory audit and implement process improvement
- Timely execution of Control Cycle change in ensuring right supply quantity is issued to support Production
- Conduct periodic review and audit on systems and physical location accuracy
- Provide leadership to direct team members by setting clear expectation and direction
- Coordinate logistics execution process for continuous improvement
- Analyze space allocation for optimization of storage capacity
- Work with Warehouse Supervisor on systems data integrity and comply to Plant QMS
- Generate all operational and management reports
- Allocate inventory to the correct departments as it comes into the warehouse
and arranging for pickups and shipments
- Supervise the receiving team (3 receivers, 1 material handler on two shifts)
- Document daily deliveries to update inventory

To be successful in the role:

- Bachelor\'s in Supply Chain Management or related field
- Must have 3+ years in a similar role in a manufacturing industry
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, and other applications
- Experience using ERP
- A positive \xe2\x80\x9ccan do\xe2\x80\x9d attitude with a strong team mentality
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
- Ability to work in the office (Mississauga)
- APICS Certification is an asset
