Summary


The Inventory Management Intern at Columbia Oilfield Supply is required to support our Supply Chain operations and ensure the efficient and timely delivery of parts to support our CAD fleet's repair and Maintenance.


Responsibilities


Day-to-day parts management and process control of inventory and warehouse operations Responsible for a clean and safe workspace Perform analysis on dead inventory and recommend slow-moving items for disposition Identify inventory addition candidates Data collection for inventory items, weights, dimensions, manufacture, etc. Review Operations requests and create demand cycle and purchase strategies for inventory Follow and support all Precision Drilling policies and procedures Assist in identifying workplace hazards Support with Supply Chain Barcode implementation Complete required reporting documentation and processes Various other duties as required



Knowledge & Skills


Microsoft Office

SAP experience is considered an asset

Oilfield experience considered an asset

Organized, communicative, and detailed

Able to work efficiently as part of a team as well as independently


Education


Must be enrolled in a university or college and pursuing a degree or designation in Supply Chain or a similar field, like Engineering or Business


Experience


Minimum 1-2 years of related work experience in warehouse or supply chain environments is considered an asset
