Reporting to the Senior Manager, Central Operations (Skip Express Lane), this role will be responsible for inventory and purchasing/ordering for Micro-Fulfillment Centres (MFCs) for the eCommerce business. This role will also be providing inventory reconciliation and administration support to the MFCs on out-of-stock items to ensure customer availability.
Whats On Your Plate:
Support the purchasing process through placing orders for Express Lane MFCs for the assigned suppliers
Support the merchandising purchasing process through creating PO (Purchase Orders) in Order Entry Management System (JDA/Blueyonder)
Work closely with the stores and order necessary inventory centrally and process order entries
Monitor In-Stocks/Out-of-Stocks and supplier fill-rate and work closely with Merchandising Team to find alternative items/secondary suppliers
Update all purchases and spends by category and any credit card purchases for inventory summary to be submitted to finance
Work with suppliers to provide visibility on vendor service levels (On-Time, In-Full, Fill Rates)
Other necessary Inventory support as required
Recipe for Success:
Post Secondary education in Business Administration, Inventory Management/Coordination or equivalent preferred
2-3 years of experience in Inventory, Procurement, Purchasing support, operations, Supply Chain or related field
Detail-oriented and highly organized with excellent work ethics to manage multiple tasks and changing priorities
Proficiency in office management softwares (Microsoft Office, Google Sheets etc.)
