Position Summary

The Inventory Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring accurate, efficient, and compliant management of raw materials, work-in-progress (WIP), and finished goods within a manufacturing environment. This role directly supports production, logistics, and supply chain operations by monitoring stock levels, coordinating material movement, and maintaining full traceability in compliance with company, customer, and regulatory standards. The Inventory Coordinator also drives process improvements that enhance manufacturing efficiency, reduce waste, and ensure uninterrupted production flow.

About You

Education & Experience

Education: Post-secondary education or equivalent experience in a related role Experience: Minimum 2 years of related experience in inventory, warehousing, or supply chain within a manufacturing environment.

Knowledge



Manufacturing inventory control procedures, cycle counting, and stock rotation methods Shipping, receiving, warehousing, and kitting practices ERP/MRP systems for inventory tracking and reporting Regulatory and customer requirements for material handling and traceability Continuous improvement and lean manufacturing principles

Skills



Strong organizational and planning skills to support manufacturing schedules Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with production, quality, and supply chain teams Problem-solving and decision-making skills applied to manufacturing challenges Attention to detail and accuracy in managing production-critical inventory Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems
