We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Inventory Coordinator to join our supply chain and warehouse management team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing inventory levels, optimizing procurement processes, and ensuring efficient materials management across multiple channels.
Duties
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the Puchasing Department when necessary.
Conduct regular cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies (shortages/overages) in Calgary location.
Perform physical inventory audits and ensure data accuracy in inventory systems across 4 Branch locations.
Supervise Warehouse staff & report to Warehouse Department Manager
Support Company culture, values and adherence to Company Policies in Calgary branch
Train and evaluate staff compliance with procedures and quality standards.
Prepare reports on inventory levels, adjustments and valuations.
Analyze trends to forecast needs for the Calgary branch
Maintain records of cycle count activities and inventory transactions.
Ensure proper storage, handling and distribution of inventory.
Skills
Proficient in reconciling inventory & cycle count operations
Strong Excel & Microsoft skills
Previous experience and understanding of Inventory Control processes
Understanding of inbound/outbound shipments, vendor coordination and warehouse operations
Problem solving & detail orientated
Strong communication and accountability skills
Prior experience in supervisory or management roles would be considered an asset.
