Inventory Clerk

We are looking for an individual who has experience in the aviation industry. The candidate will primarily be responsible for looking after the stores inventory, data entry & record keeping. The individual should also be proficient in maintaining a filing system and digital records, as well as managing rotable off-aircraft records.

The person will maintain a records and data entry as required for aircraft parts.

Other responsibilities include administrative and clerical duties such as filing, typing, and preparing reports and correspondence using Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook, and PDF editor. The candidate would be trained on company internal systems as required.

Duties:

-Manage and monitor inventory of aircraft parts, tools, consumables, and equipment using manual and computerized systems to support daily maintenance operations.

Coordinate with maintenance planning and stores on parts availability and timelines for scheduled maintenance.

Compile inventory reports detailing quantities, types, and values of materials and equipment.

Organize, label, and store inventory correctly, maintaining proper stock rotation and removing or accounting for outdated or expired items.

Forecast and prepare requisitions to replenish stock based on usage trends, maintenance plans, and operational needs.

Issue parts and materials to technicians according to work requirements, recording all transactions accurately.

Perform routine cycle counts, full inventory audits, and reconcile physical counts with system records; investigate and correct discrepancies.

Update inventory systems with accurate data on stock usage, transfers, returns, adjustments, replenishment, and relocations.

Receive, inspect, and verify deliveries against purchase orders, ensuring all items meet required aviation standards.

Configure and set up components as required for specific aircraft types.

Assist with logistics tasks, including scheduling pickups, tracking shipments, and coordinating the receipt and shipment of aircraft components.

Perform clerical and administrative duties such as filing, typing, and preparing reports and correspondence using Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook, and PDF tools.

Review, maintain, and update documentation and status records for aircraft parts both on- and off-aircraft, ensuring compliance with company requirements.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience in inventory control or related roles.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex data sets.
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory management software.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
