KBGT is a growing restaurant distributor and central kitchen operator in North York, dedicated to delivering fresh, high-quality products to our branches and clients.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Inventory Associate to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing inventory levels, ensuring accurate stock counts, and supporting supply chain operations. This position requires strong analytical skills, experience in warehouse management, and a solid understanding of inventory control processes. The Inventory Associate will work closely with various departments to optimize inventory flow and enhance overall efficiency.

Responsibilities



Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems and data analysis tools. Assist with the physical handling of goods, including manual lifting, carrying, and preparing items for shipment. Conduct regular stock counts and audits to ensure inventory accuracy. Collaborate with purchasing and procurement teams to manage inventory levels effectively. Analyze data related to supply chain performance, including demand planning and forecasting. Support logistics operations by coordinating shipping and receiving activities. Implement process improvements to enhance inventory management efficiency. Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts for optimal pricing and terms. Assist in the development of financial models related to inventory costs and procurement strategies. Perform heavy lifting as required during stocking and materials handling tasks.

Qualifications



Ability to work full-time, Sunday to Thursday (From 6 AM) Proven experience in inventory management, warehouse distribution, or supply chain operations. Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data mining and financial analysis. Familiarity with WMS (such as DEAR system, CIN7) Understanding of Korean and Japanese food ingredients required Knowledge of logistics, shipping & receiving, order fulfillment, and materials management. Ability to perform root cause analysis and implement effective solutions for inventory discrepancies. Basic proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint required) Excellent negotiation skills for supplier management and contract negotiations. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and retail management practices is advantageous. Capability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
