Summary:

The Inventory Associate is responsible for fulfilling inventory requirements by picking orders, restocking inventory, preparing products to be shipped, and cycle counting inventory as needed.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Prioritize orders for processing to ensure customer\'s shipping needs are met.
  • Accurately pick orders from the vertical lift system using an ERP to ensure proper inventory and quantities are selected according to the customer\'s request.
  • Help perform cycle counts for inventory accuracy.
  • Prepare shipping labels for shipment to customers.
  • Responsible for processing customer orders in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Assist with the daily operational workflow.
  • Restock items needed for inventory into the vertical lift system in a timely manner.
  • Assist in maintaining the cleanliness of the warehouse and office.

Required minimum Competencies:
  • High School Graduate or GED required.
  • Exceptional communication and teamwork-oriented.
  • Extreme accuracy and attention to detail are required.
  • Basic computer knowledge and skills are needed.
  • Must be able to count, sort, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Cannot have an issue with transposing numbers or letters
  • Familiarity with Inventory and WMS software is an asset
Work Environment:

This job operates in a semi-office environment with exposure to a warehouse-type environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, printers, in addition to vertical lift inventory systems.
