We are recruiting a detail-oriented and proactive Inventory and Warehouse Coordinator to join our team. This role is crucial in making sure production has been allocated the required inventory in order to efficiently produce parts.
Responsibilities
Following all Safety procedures/practices; Reporting any hazards, injuries, and incidents (including near misses); Working in a safe manner at all times.
Follow Work Orders, according to the production schedule, to allocate inventory in the ERP system.
Allocate the required inventory to machines in the ERP system
Prepare the inventory required for each job and complete quality documentation to give clear direction on what inventory quantity and lot #'s have been allocated
Work with Planning, Supply Chain, Production and other shifts to communicate priorities and issues
Verify inventory discrepancies at the end of production and make adjustments in the ERP system
Ensure the warehouse is kept in a clean and organized manner
Follow inventory management principles
Work with and support Material Handlers to follow Work Order picklists
Physical and electronic put away of incoming inventory
Provide coverage to team members while on their breaks
Monthly inventory counts
Working together as a team

Experience
Understands and lives our values of

Has 2 years of experience or education in inventory management for a manufacturing company
Works well in a team environment
Is a motivated 'go-getter' attitude, ready to take on whatever hurdles may arise during the day
Is detail-oriented and appreciates doing things properly and accurately
Strong computer skills in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
Experience with ERP systems is preferred
Clear written and verbal communication that ensures both safety and accuracy in all aspects of job performance
Has a forklift license or experience (training provided)
Physical fitness and the ability to stand for extended periods of time, lift, turn, twist, reach; occasionally be able to lift up to 25kgs.
The ability and willingness to learn procedures for upholding the company's quality and safety standards.
Natural organization skills; able to effectively manage time and energy, respecting deadlines and responding appropriately when urgency is needed.
