VDK Group Inc. is currently seeking to hire a full-time Inventory Analyst to join our growing team. This role plays a key part in maintaining the accuracy, efficiency, and optimization of our inventory management systems across multiple divisions. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing inventory data, tracking material movement, identifying trends, and providing recommendations to improve forecasting, purchasing, and operational performance. What You'll Do




Monitor and analyze inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize shortages or overages Conduct regular inventory reconciliations and variance analyses to maintain data accuracy between physical and system records Collaborate with purchasing, production, and warehouse teams to forecast demand and align inventory strategies with business needs Develop and maintain inventory tracking reports, KPIs, and dashboards to support decision-making Identify slow-moving, obsolete, or excess stock and provide recommendations for disposition or utilization Review and refine inventory control procedures to improve accuracy, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness Support annual and cycle inventory counts and assist in root cause analysis of discrepancies Ensure proper documentation and reporting of material usage, transfers, and adjustments in ERP systems Provide analytical support for purchasing and production planning to meet customer demand and project deadlines Partner with the finance team to ensure proper valuation, costing, and reporting of inventory assets

What You'll Bring




Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems (experience with inventory or manufacturing software is an asset) Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across departments Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment 2+ years of experience in inventory analysis, supply chain, or a related field (manufacturing experience preferred) Post-secondary education in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline
