We're looking for an on-site Intra-Alberta Dispatcher in the logistics and transportation industry based in Calgary, Alberta.
Our client is a well-established logistics company providing reliable and efficient transportation solutions across Western Canada. They are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Dispatcher to coordinate regional routes within Alberta, ensuring timely and accurate pickups, deliveries, and communication across drivers, customers, and internal teams. This is a fully on-site role in Calgary and an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow in a fast-paced logistics environment.
Intra-Alberta Dispatcher responsibilities:

• Dispatch and coordinate a fleet of regional drivers for daily routes across Alberta
• Schedule and confirm pickup and delivery appointments with customers and Customer Service Representatives
• Monitor and communicate driver schedules, ensuring compliance with Hours of Service (HOS) regulations
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records using Google Docs and internal systems
• Track route progress and resolve delivery or scheduling issues as they arise
• Communicate effectively with coworkers, drivers, and customers via phone and email
• Complete operational and performance reporting in a timely manner
• Collaborate with operations leadership to ensure smooth day-to-day logistics coordination

The successful candidate has:

• 2+ years of dispatch or logistics coordination experience, preferably in regional or intra-provincial operations
• Strong working knowledge of Hours of Service (HOS) compliance and transportation documentation
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office (especially spreadsheets)
• Dependable, punctual, and able to problem-solve under pressure
• Positive team attitude and commitment to customer service excellence

Compensation and benefits:

• The discussed salary range is $55,000 - $60,000 depending on experience
• Comprehensive benefits package
• Full-time, on-site position based in Calgary, AB
• Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, with occasional additional hours as needed
