The role of the Interpretive Sales Agent is engage with potential customers at the resort in an interactive manner in order to educate the guest on our product offering, and capitalize on sales opportunities wherever possible. With the use of interpretive props and sales promotions, the Interpretive Sales Agent will focus solely on promoting the gondola & other resort offerings, while working closely with our Guest Services and Marketing teams to reach sales targets.
Job Responsibilities:
Engage with guests in order to increase guest knowledge of gondola product & operation
Presenting to a public audience with limited interpretive props both indoors and outdoors
Coordinate The Wildlife Interpretive Centre operations, with special attention to cleanliness
Meet sales targets consistently
Efficient use of sales & POS systems in order to create a seamless path to purchase experience for the guest
Ensure positive guest experience through interaction & providing local knowledge as required
Assist the Guest Services team as a Guest Services Attendant when/where required (high likelihood)
Job Requirements/Qualifications:
Previous customer service/sales experience required
Service oriented: able to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally at all times
Be able to engage enthusiastically with large groups of people
Self-motivated, with the ability to work with a team, as well as independently
Reliable, flexible, outgoing and enthusiastic
Ability to analyze and interpret the needs of guests and offer the appropriate information required
Able to respond quickly in a dynamic and changing environment
Familiarity with or willingness to learn about the Lake Louise & greater Banff National Park area, as well as local wildlife and history considered an asset
Fluency or working knowledge of other languages is considered an asset
A Police Background Check from your home country or province will be required upon commencement of employment

5 days on/2 days off
