Eaton's ES AMER PCS division is currently seeking a Technical Coordinator Intern.

What you'll do:

PRIMARY FUNCTION:

Eaton is looking for an Intern- Technical coordinator for our EatonCare division for 12 months in our Burlington, Ontario Headquarters facility.

The Technical coordinator intern will proactively manage and coordinate the commercial and technical aspects of basic to high value project orders containing standard, assembled-to-order and engineered-to-order equipment. The intern will serve as a customer advocate while communicating with plants, field sales, and assigned customer base regarding the status of orders including maintaining production schedules and addressing logistical concerns to ensure on-time and accurate delivery of project commitments.

Additional responsibilities include functioning as a technical backup support in pre and post-sales stages and establishing, developing, and nurturing customer relationships to strengthen partnerships and achieve long term objectives.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Provide active support to project team with order management and maintenance Maintain the commercial integrity of assembled to order projects. This includes reviewing and understanding customer purchase order requirements, ensuring system data integrity, and maintaining financial control measures Manage multiple project orders and prioritize time and tasks effectively to serve Eaton's customers Maintain the scheduling and financial tracking of all assigned project orders including accurate invoicing, on-time shipments, and logistical planning Communicate effectively with project managers, plants, credit, field sales, and other relevant internal departments to ensure accurate, on-time delivery of project commitments Lead project meetings and provide guidance to team members to ensure that project objectives are understood and met. Communicate directly with the assigned customer base regarding the status of orders, shipment schedule, invoicing etc. Maintain company objectives throughout the order cycle while keeping logistical and financial harmony Adhere to the enablement of digital mindset and utilize the latest digital tools at our disposal, to make the above-mentioned responsibilities more automated and error free Perform all job functions with adherence to Eaton's Philosophy and Values as well as the Safety and Environmental standards

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications (Including Educational Requirements):

Currently enrolled and returning to a post-secondary program/ bachelor's degree program in engineering with an accredited institution. Legally authorized to work in Canada on a permanent basis without company sponsorship. This position does not offer relocation.

Preferred Qualifications:

Preference given to those in their third or fourth year of studies. Understanding of single line diagram and power distribution knowledge

Demonstrated leadership experience within campus and/or the community. Excellent written, oral communication and presentation skills Must have excellent time management skills Strong attention to details and ability to follow up on open actions Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and situations to achieve superior proactive project order management and customer service. Strong computer skills and high proficiency in Microsoft Suite and Cloud applications Experience with O365 platform, SharePoint and Power Automate
