Job Description

This position is scheduled to start in Jan 2026. The hourly range for this role is $22-$26 per hour. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. Provide applied engineering in the areas of power system studies, power quality analysis and electrical power system design. Performing short circuit, overcurrent coordination, load flow, power quality and arc flash hazard analysis studies. Review project specifications, single line diagrams and equipment Bill of Materials. Prepare power system study data requests and follow up as required. Assist with electrical substation and protection & control design tasks. Manage paperwork and office procedures. Perform all work at a high level. Currently enrolled in an Electrical Engineering Degree program. Possess and maintain a valid and unrestricted driver's license Experience in the use of SKM PTW, ETAP, EDSA, CYME, or EasyPower power system analysis software would be a plus. Ability to read and understand single line diagrams and schematics would be an asset. Knowledge of applicable electrical code requirement and design practices an asset.
