About the Project:
Toronto is gearing up for the FIFA World Cup 2026, and we're capturing that excitement through a
new web series
celebrating
soccer, tourism, and culture
. From neighborhood pubs to fan hubs, this project will spotlight how Toronto lives, eats, and celebrates the world's game.
We're looking for:
Motivated
interns
eager to gain real, hands-on experience in
media production, storytelling, and fan culture
. This is a
collaborative, independent project
built by creators who believe in showcasing Toronto's multicultural energy, not corporate budgets. We're not trying to get your free time; we're building something meaningful together that promotes
soccer, community, and Toronto's local scene
.
Available Roles:
1. Host / On-Camera Personality
Charismatic, outgoing, and confident on camera, able to engage naturally with the public.
A
foodie at heart
, curious about Toronto's diverse dining scene, local pubs, and fan culture.
Familiar with
hospitality, tourism, and customer experience,
comfortable giving recommendations and speaking about
food, safety, and service quality
in a fun and informed way.
Passionate about soccer, storytelling, and cultural experiences that bring people together.
2. Camera Operator / Content Creator
Skilled or eager to learn
handheld and documentary-style
shooting.
Understands the basics of framing, lighting, and audio.
Comfortable filming in fast-paced, social environments (pubs, outdoor fan events, etc.).
Editing or social content experience (Adobe Premiere, CapCut, etc.) is an asset.
Ideal Candidates:
Students or recent graduates in
media, journalism, tourism, hospitality or sports management
.
Passionate about
the fan experience
.
Independent thinkers with a sense of
leadership and creative initiative
.
This internship is
part-time
and can qualify as a
co-op or academic placement project
.
What We Provide:
Equipment, production guidance, and mentorship
throughout the project.
Hands-on experience
with professional storytelling, content planning, and on-location filming.
Portfolio material, on-screen/on-set credits, and visibility
through a growing independent media platform.
A chance to
contribute to Toronto's World Cup 2026 narrative
through authentic, community-driven storytelling.
