Job Level ST-99
As a legal intern, you will support lawyers, notaries and other compliance advisors in carrying out their mandates.
You will be called upon to draft positions and compliance notices, conduct regulatory monitoring and participate in surveillance activities.
You will also draft frameworks and documentation in support of the various compliance programs.
More specifically, the successful candidate will be called upon to participate in a range of files covering the following topics:
- Compliance / Legal and regulatory risk
- Protection of personal information
- Fight against fraud and financial crime
- Physical security
General Information on the Position
Main responsibilities
Complete documents requiring particular rigor and know-how
Carry out various operational activities related to the unit\'s business processes (data extraction and processing, information research and analysis, follow-up of internal customer requests, application of programs and policies, file routing, etc.).
Act as an advisor to team members and internal customers.
Carry out analyses and research for management priority files.
Write position statements and frameworks, and develop documentation to support the compliance program.
Produce and send reports on a periodic basis
Perform regulatory monitoring.

Workplace: Position located in Montreal or Levis, depending on the applicant selected. The work arrangement for the position is hybrid work #LI-Hybrid
