Internet Service Provider Remote Technician

Position Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Internet Service Provider Remote Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting wireless internet equipment for our residential and commercial customers. This role requires strong technical capabilities, excellent problem-solving skills, and a customer-focused mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide remote support to Install and configure internet equipment, including modems, routers, and network cables, at customer locations Perform routine maintenance tasks to optimize network performance and prevent service disruptions Respond promptly to customer phone calls and tickets to resolve connectivity issues in a timely manner Conduct thorough diagnostic tests to identify the root cause of network problems and implement effective solutions Educate customers on the proper use of internet equipment and troubleshoot basic connectivity issues remotely Collaborate with other team members to coordinate installations, upgrades, and repairs as needed

Qualifications:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach Fluent in conversational English and strong typing skills Strong troubleshooting skills Prior experience in telecommunications, networking, or related field is highly desirable Proficient understanding of internet protocols, networking concepts, and hardware components is highly desirable Ability to work independently with minimal supervision High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or degree preferred
