Job Duties

Job Duties
Reporting to the Manager of International Education, this position will provide basic office and recruitment support for International Education staff.

1. Basic office support such as stuffing envelopes, compiling information packages, setting-up and taking-down of meeting rooms, photocopying and related tasks.
2. Assist International Education with student orientation and other presentation.
3. Peer mentoring and support for prospective and new students.
4. Basic data entry (addresses, contact information, etc.).
5. Social media updates.
6. Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications, Skills and Abilities (QSA)
1. Currently enrolled as a full-time SaskPolytech student.
2. Excellent interpersonal and communication (oral and written) skills.
3. Good public speaking skills.
4. Ability to travel; overnight travel may be required.
5. Ability to make presentations to groups.
6. Knowledge of social media in an international context.
7. Knowledge of challenges and rewards facing international students studying in Canada.
8. Demonstrates valuing diversity.
