The International Student Centre, embedded within the Office of Student Experience & Wellbeing, offers exciting programs, cultivates strong communities and provides opportunities that enhance the student experience outside of the classroom while being committed to creating an inclusive and welcoming environment. Your opportunity:
Working with a dynamic team and under the general direction ofthe Senior Manager, Community, Global and Intercultural Experience, you will be dedicated to the enrichment of the co-curricular life of the campus by serving as the main front-line support for the International Student Centre.
You will assume primary responsibility for Student Life Programs’ front-line services for international students and those seeking to internationalize their experience. You will provide tailored information, support and and referrals on all matters related to international student support and programming, intercultural development and global learning. You will achieve this by taking a holistic, student-centred approach to student success coordinating the Centre’s front- line services, creating marketing & communications promotional materials, administering the University Health Insurance Plan (UHIP) at the local level, and providing overall administrative support to the Centre.
You will also provide administrative support for the department, including supporting logistical details for events, making appointments and coordinating schedules, agendas and meeting minutes, and maintaining records.
