Job Description
Dixon Medical Clinic is a specialty pharmacy committed to delivering exceptional patient care while maintaining a healthy work-life balance for our team.
We are seeking an
International Medical Graduate (IMG)
to support our family practice. The successful candidate will assist with triaging patients and provide day-to-day support to the family doctor, helping ensure smooth clinic operations. This role is ideal for a physician trained abroad who has relocated to Canada and is looking to apply their medical knowledge in a clinical setting while working toward licensing.Key Responsibilities
Assist with patient triage and intake. Support the family doctor in daily clinical operations. Document patient information accurately and maintain confidentiality. Help coordinate patient flow and scheduling. Provide general clinical and administrative support as needed.
Qualifications
Medical degree obtained outside of Canada. Previous clinical experience (international or Canadian) preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment. Interest in pursuing medical licensing in Canada is an asset.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
Work Location: In person
