Position Purpose

***This will be a remote position based in the Vancouver Metro Area***

Working with International VP, SMO manager and Regional Directors, the Digital Marketing Manager - International is responsible for developing and helping to execute the social media and digital strategies for all brands in Delicato\xe2\x80\x99s International Portfolio. Serving as a digital marketing subject matter expert, this position ensures that our digital efforts are aligned with Brand positioning and generate ongoing consumer demand.
Reporting to the Director Digital Marketing and working closely with the domestic Brand and Digital Marketing teams, this highly specialized position will develop and execute a cross-platform digital and content strategy supporting Delicato\xe2\x80\x99s International brand marketing efforts and influence key stakeholders with the use of research, insights, and analytics.

Essential Duties

  • Plays a critical role in driving the digital marketing agenda to grow international e-commerce business and ensures a seamless, on-equity consumer experience
  • Ensures the brand visuals and voices are accurately communicated across all digital channels including but not limited to social media, digital advertising, SEO, retail marketplaces, and websites and acts as a steward for brand tone with outside agencies and partners
  • In coordination with domestic Digital Marketing efforts, owns the strategy, communication and delivery of all social media and digital assets for the International Marketing team\xe2\x80\x99s digital efforts for the International Marketing team\xe2\x80\x99s digital efforts
  • Serves as a Social Media Subject Matter Expert providing best practices and recommendations to internal International and Trade Marketing teams
  • Drives strategy and execution across all social channels for all brands within the Delicato National portfolio, including Bota Box, Francis Ford Coppola, Noble Vines, Z. Alexander Brown, 1924, Three Finger Jack, Black Stallion, and Diora and more. Provides Social Media support and expertise for International and Exclusive brands.
  • Manages multiple outside agencies and serves as lead point of contact to ensure quality and value of spending in all digital media are earning return on investment, and ensures brand standards and compliance are upheld, while deliverables are provided in a timely manner
  • Consistently provides strategic direction and collaborates with internal and external stakeholders, i.e., content development firms, PR agencies, video production companies, technology vendors, etc., to ensure 360-degree programming is consistent and customized across all digital platforms
  • Stays ahead of key digital marketing platforms/tools and optimize digital presence on key consumer facing touchpoints (apps, websites, digital ad units etc.); monitors and analyzes competitive digital activity; reports relevant findings to key stakeholders
  • Utilizes paid tools with outside research to remain on the cutting edge of all digital insights; synthesizes and presents digital insights into frameworks that inform strategy and drive key business decisions across brand marketing findings to the broader marketing and sales organization
  • Advocates for brands by serving as a key liaison between U.S. National Marketing, Trade Marketing, and International
  • Creates and maintains brand standards and annual plans with clear brand positioning and execution guidelines
  • Partners with U.S. National Marketing as part of the annual development of strategic brand plans by analyzing product, category, consumer, and market dynamics that ensure long-term brand growth
  • Establishes and delivers fully integrated promotions and education materials that enables engagement amongst consumers, distributors, and retail partners
  • Develops and owns goals and performance metrics for campaigns; monitors regularly to understand effectiveness of strategy and creative, making recommendations for continuous improvement; presents findings to key stakeholders and relevant parties
  • Coordinates with International regarding the recommendation of products and pricing utilizing data and insights
  • Executes International brand budgets that support key brand strategies; adheres to prescribed brand budgets
  • Works collaboratively and in partnership with across Delicato functions
  • Works on special projects as assigned

Minimum Requirements

Education and Experience
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree with emphasis in Marketing, Communications, or comparable discipline
  • 4-5 years of directly related experience
  • Wine or Spirits Industry experience required
Certificates and Licenses
  • WSET Level 2 is preferred
  • Drivers License
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Experience developing and executing social media across all social channels and digital strategies
  • Global understanding of the way that digital marketing is used as a brand platform to communicate brand objectives in the beverage alcohol space
  • Ability to manage (as lead POC), monitor, and serve as a brand steward to multiple agencies and act as a liaison between our Brand Teams and the agencies
  • Advanced knowledge of digital and social media advertising
  • Ability to monitor and analyze competitive digital activity and report relevant findings to senior leaders, brand, legal and digital teams
  • Excellent planning, organization, and communication skills
  • Stays at the leading edge of industry trends
  • A self-starter, detail oriented, and results driven attitude
  • Ability to influence key stakeholders using analytics
  • Proactive and solution orientated
  • Able to work within a team environment and build cooperative and collaborative relationships with those inside and outside the department
  • Strong computer skills including MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook
  • Experience with graphic software such as Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator desired
  • Solid understanding of social and web analytics tools
  • In depth knowledge of all social media channels (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, etc.)
  • Knowledge of the digital landscape and how it relates to Consumer-Packaged Goods
Working Conditions
  • Remote position that requires working from home
  • Occasional traveling is required
  • Required to drive automotive vehicle or equipment
  • Occasionally may be required to lift and carry cases of wine
  • May need to determine color, taste

California Pay Transparency Disclaimer: This is a Exempt position. The pay range for this position is 119,689.46CAD to 187,352.38CAD.

Actual placement within range will be contingent upon a number of factors, including but not limited to the candidate\'s qualifications, education, experience, internal equity and alignment with market data.
