Compensation: Starting from $120,000/year (Competitive, commensurate with experience, plus benefits)

Role Overview

The Technical Senior Tax Manager is a senior

internal

-facing role focused on technical tax excellence, education, and knowledge management. This role provides advanced technical support to the Tax and Assurance teams, with a limited client load.

Key Responsibilities

Provide technical tax research and support to Tax and Assurance teams Interpret legislation, CRA guidance, and case law Prepare and review internal technical memoranda Develop and maintain internal tax training curriculum Monitor new legislation and update training materials Present internal training sessions and legislative updates Support onboarding and technical development of staff Maintain a limited client portfolio focused on complex technical matters

Qualifications

CPA designation In-Depth Tax Program completed Senior-level public practice tax experience, 2+ years as Senior Tax Manager in public practice Strong research and communication skills Experience delivering technical training
