Job Description

• Pick and stage all packaging materials and components for required shop orders
• Maintain adequate material supply level at all machine centers by acting proactively to anticipate station needs
• Remove finished goods from production lines to the finished goods area
• Return unused stock to designated warehouse area ensuring proper count and store in racking after finishing production run
• Maintain warehouse ensuring proper utilization of racking space available
• Operate automated palletizer, wrap and move finished goods skids to the Shipping staging area
• Perform cycle counts for materials in the area
• Maintain transactions in associated warehouse and inventory software systems
• Ensure the FIFO procedure is followed
• Operate lift truck ensuring proper Safety Procedures are carried out
• Accurately complete all required documentation - Tea dump report, Trad Med Pink sheet, etc.
• Report all discrepancies to Supervisor
• Other duties as assigned

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum Grade 12, or equivalent
• Hold a valid forklift license (Reach and Counterbalance)
• Team Player with Operations & Material Handling Environment
• Previous experience in a food manufacturing environment
• 3-5 years experience driving a forklift, ideally in a Material Handling/Order Picking position
• Must have a demonstrated history of safe work and food safety habits
• Must be computer literate in order to facilitate the use of RF units
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Able to multitask and prioritize/organized
• Able to take direction, both verbal and written, and communicate effectively
• Skills Assessments will be required
