We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Internal Medicine Physician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing specialized diagnosis and comprehensive medical care to adult patients, focusing on the diagnosis, and specialized hyperbaric treatment strategies. The Internal Medicine Physician will utilize their expertise in acute care, as well as health team collaboration (including home care) to enhance patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
Conduct thorough patient assessments and evaluations.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and medical history.
Administer medications and monitor patient responses to treatments.
Utilize electronic health record systems for accurate data collection and documentation.
Provide education to patients to engage them regarding their comorbid conditions, treatment options, and preventive measures.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Engage in research activities to enhance clinical practices and contribute to the advancement of emerging hyperbaric oxygen therapy in internal medicine.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and care delivery.
Qualifications
Registered to practice medicine with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario
Strong knowledge of medical terminology, acute care practices, and home care protocols.
Scientific curiosity as well as diverse medical experience is an asset.
Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient-centered care.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Previous experience in a hospital or medical office setting is highly desirable.
