Job Summary

Advisor Communications and Engagement and Executive Assistant - Possibility to work from home (hybrid mode).

As an Advisor Communications and Engagement and Executive Assistant for our Sherbrooke site, you will play a key role in making staff feel informed, engaged, involved and valued. You will also provide administrative support to SLT members and other key positions within Charles River.

In this role, key responsibilities include:

• Develop diverse communication channels, e.g., newsletter, intranet, social media, print, digital signage and email.
• Responsible for planning, writing, editing, and publishing content across the range of internal communications channels.
• Work with Sherbrooke General Manager, senior stakeholders and managers to build their capacity for effective communications and engagement with staff.
• Develop and monitor the budget for internal communications and staff engagement activities
• Provide confidential administrative support to general direction including coordination of meetings/ agenda/ conference rooms, etc.
• Provide project and task assistance/ support to the general direction.
• Coordinate/maintain various programs/ schedules in a timely manner.

Key Elements

We are looking for the following minimum qualifications for this role:

• Degree in communications, marketing or other relevant degree.
• 7 years of experience in a similar position.
• Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Excellent writing and content creation skills.
• Autonomy, creativity, professionalism and ability to manage priorities.
• Bilingualism (French/English) spoken and written is required.

About Safety Assessment
Charles River is committed to helping our partners expedite their preclinical drug development with exceptional safety assessment services, state-of-the-art facilities and expert regulatory guidance. From individual specialty toxicology and IND enabling studies to tailored packages and total laboratory support, our deeply experienced team can design and execute programs that anticipate challenges and avoid roadblocks for a smooth, efficient journey to market.
