This 16-month internship position will be in Ottawa (Kanata/Nepean) or GTA (Toronto /Mississauga/Markham). Duration and location can be flexible for Masters/PhD students

What you will learn:
The following are examples of tasks that our past interns were involved in:

  • Defining and tracking verification testplans
  • Designing and writing constrained-random SystemVerilog testbenches using UVM (Universal Verification Methodology)
  • Creating and examining Functional Coverage
  • Writing SystemVerilog assertions
  • Debugging RTL and gate-level simulation failures
  • Code Coverage Analysis
Skill Requirements:
  • Excellent knowledge of digital design theory, semiconductor lifecycle and related topics
  • Good knowledge of UVM concepts
  • Proficient in language such as C and Verilog
  • Scripting experience with Perl, Python, Bash, or Csh is an asset.
  • Motivated, eager, and interested in ASIC/SoC design and verification flow
  • Persistence and determination.
Education Requirements:
  • Enrolled in Computer or Electrical Engineering with focus on digital design, semiconductor and related topics.
