Job Title Intern - Sustainability

Summary The role of the Sustainability Program Intern is to support the Sustainability Program Manager, and the rest of the Sustainability Program Organization. The internship is in an opportunity to gain skills in environmental sustainability and energy management, within the commercial sector.

The experience may focus on: climate action initiatives, energy management, collecting data and creating documents to supplement sustainable management plans, coordinating events and literature communication to stakeholders.

  • Direct and full support to the Sustainability Program Manager in implementing programs, covering multiple areas, from administrative support, to preparing documentation, assisting in logistics and organization of meetings
  • Assist in identifying and defining measurements that provide solid data on the program impacts,
  • Processing data for reporting purposes
  • Liaise with other teams to collect and organize data related to carbon footprint and other related data
  • Collaborate with teams on information to be included in the Sustainability Report; creating reports for stakeholders
  • As needed to participate in meetings, taking notes and producing the minutes of the meetings, and action plans decided and their follow up
Requirements
  • Excellent interpersonal, research and communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Working towards a university degree
  • Ability to work independently, be self-motivated and have a positive attitude
  • Ability to work flexible hours, multi-task and handle tight deadlines
