Purpose

Work Term: 1 Year

Liberty is looking for an energetic individual to join our New Brunswick team as an Operations Intern. The successful candidate will report directly to the Manager, Trade Ally and will be responsible for a variety of duties, including assisting with operational support of Liberty\'s growth strategies.

Accountabilities

Data Entry - Performs data acquisition and input into all required systems. Includes but is not limited to:

  • Creating/processing work orders and other relevant documents
  • Filing of contracts, work orders and other relevant document
Scheduling - Provides support in the area of scheduling:
  • Customer equipment inspections
  • Customer equipment maintenance
  • Government Inspections (Meters)
  • Other field work relating to regulated/unregulated programs & special projects, as required
Reporting - Provides support in the area of tracking/reporting on:
  • Customer equipment inspections
  • Customer equipment maintenances
  • Government Inspections (Meters)
  • Other field work relating to regulated/unregulated programs & special projects, as required
Process Improvement - Participates in efforts pertaining to process improvements
Other Duties - Employee will be asked to provide assistance to the operations department and other departments, as assigned

Education and Experience
  • Recent university or post-secondary college graduate (within the last 3 years)
  • Strong team player
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication and organization skills
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize
  • Strong writing skills, reviewing, proofing, editing
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite
  • Typing skills 35+WPM
  • Bilingual in both official languages (French and English) considered an asset
  • Valid New Brunswick driver\'s license
