ABOUT THE TEAM
The Investment Compliance team is monitoring PSP's investment activities ensuring compliance to its policies and procedures, and applicable laws and regulations. In addition to Investment Compliance, the team also provides support to the Trading Desk, performed Derivatives and Trading Surveillance and provides all required information for Brokerage Services.
ABOUT YOUR ROLE
As an Intern, Investment Compliance, you'll:Assist the team in performing daily and periodic compliance monitoring activities to ensure compliance with regulations and investment guidelines
Assist the team in performing inquiries relating to the Restricted List, reflect the updated information in systems and prepare the documentation needed for the Restricted Lists management
Replace absent team members by ensuring critical or time-sensitive tasks are completed
Perform various tasks as needed such as documenting processes, drafting operational procedures, participating in analyses performed by the department, organizing broker profiles, etc.
WHAT YOU'LL NEEDCurrently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Technology Management
Strong knowledge of financial products and markets
Good level of proficiency with MS Office tools (namely Excel)
Team player
Accountability and results-driven
Excellent focus on detail and good organizational skills
Work ethics and integrity
Must return to studies after the internship or the internship must be part of your curriculum
Bilingualism: English and French (frequent interactions in English with PSP employees based in our offices in Hong Kong, London and New York, and interactions in French with employees in our local offices in Montreal and Ottawa)*
