The Internal Audit (Data Analytics) Intern will support the development and enhancement of the Internal Audit data analytics program, with a primary focus on building automated, scalable reporting solutions in Tableau. This role will be responsible for designing and developing dashboards and reports that enable continuous monitoring, audit testing, and detection of unusual or potentially suspicious transactions. The intern will work closely with auditors to understand data needs, translate audit requirements into analytical outputs, and help modernize how we use data to drive insights.
The role

• Cleanse, transform data and create visual reports for Internal Audit using Tableau
• Utilize SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze data from data warehouse
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate accuracy of developed reports

The requirements

• Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics or other related technical fields
• Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction, transformation, and analysis
• Familiarity with Business Intelligence tools such as Tableau
• This position requires proficiency in a language other than French to support customers, employees or markets located outside the province of Quebec or requiring services in a language other than French, mainly English
