What are your contributions to the team?
Support new concept developments by ensuring their technical feasibility and their potential compliance or challenges with certification
Create and validate cabin user scenarios using emerging technologies
Prototype and validate cabin architecture proposals
Be comfortable in a workshop environment fabricating physical mockups
Monitor emerging technology and applications in aerospace and consumer tech
Support collaborations with universities and government organizations
Write technical reports summarizing the scope of a project and lessons learned for future reference
Integrate and collaborate with multi?disciplinary teams, including Industrial Design, Interior Design, Engineering, Production, Advanced Design, Product Development, Marketing, Customer
Facing teams and Customers, Universities and Academia
From research, to conceptual and technical development, through user testing and validation, into detailed engineering and qualification, create and bring products to production

How to thrive in this role?
The Industrial Design intern will participate in design and research projects to develop new concepts and proposals for business aircraft cabins. The ideal candidate is bringing curiosity and creativity, a problem?solving approach and a strong focus on creating rich user experiences through clever and innovative design proposals.
A strong focus will be on building 'proof-of-concept' prototypes and testing and validating design through direct experiences and iterations.
The Industrial design intern will be a member of the Bombardier Industrial Design Team. In addition to his/her technical literacy, primary qualities will be creativity, his/ her desire to question the status quo of the industry and his/her capability to interact with a team of creative minds.
Together we will design and define the business aircraft industry's cabin of the future.
