The Canadian Olympic Committee (COC) is a national, private, not-for-profit organization committed to high-performance sports excellence. We are the largest private supporter of high-performance sport in Canada and we are responsible for all aspects of Canada's involvement in the Olympic Movement, including participation in the Olympic and Pan American Games.



The Games Department at the Canadian Olympic Committee is seeking an individual to help with administrative coordination as the Games Planning Team prepares for the Dakar 2026 Youth Olympic Games, the Pan American Games in 2027 and the summer Olympic Games in Los Angeles 2028.

LOCATION



This internship will be in the COC office in Montreal, QC at 500 Boul. Rene-Levesque, 2nd Floor. We offer a hybrid work model that allows for up to two days of remote work each week.



CORE RESPONSIBILITIES AND PRIORITIES

The Games Intern would assist the Games Planning Team with various tasks including:
Support the Games team with preparation of the Youth Olympic Games Dakar 2026. Support the Games team with the warehousing space optimization and inventory management. Provide support to the team with the coordination and administrative tasks as needed, including vetting and verifying large amounts of data. Assist in other Games department projects as required.

QUALIFICATIONS AND CRITICAL SKILLS



Must be enrolled in a Canadian degree or diploma program in Sport Management or relevant field Knowledge of the Canadian Sport System and Canadian athletes considered an asset Strong organization skills and attention to detail Time and priority management; ability to meet deadlines on multiple projects and tasks Ability to work effectively within a team Ability to build and maintain excellent work relationships with various internal and external stakeholders Experience with MS Office software and Google Suite Bilingual French and English considered an asset Demonstrates and embodies the COC values of Accountability, Excellence, Fun, Respect and Bravery

This full-time internship will run from approximately May 2026 to August 2026, depending on the successful intern's availability and the academic calendar.

COMPENSATION

This is a paid internship. The intern will earn an hourly wage of $18.00 with a maximum of 35 hours per week.
