The Canadian Olympic Foundation (COF) is the philanthropic fundraising arm of the Canadian Olympic Committee (COC) with the joint purpose to transform Canada through the power of sport. The COF is the only official Foundation in Canada that raises funds to support athletes at all stages of their Olympic journey - from the spark of an Olympic dream to the moment they step on the podium and beyond their competition days.

The Intern, Foundation Donor Programs & Digital Marketing is a dynamic, creative and strategic-thinking individual who supports the Foundation's fundraising efforts and athlete engagement, while also contributing to Team Canada's Digital Marketing operations. Supporting the entire COF & Digital teams, the Intern, Foundation Donor Programs & Digital Marketing is organized and creative, with a drive to raise funds and deliver impact.

LOCATION

This internship will be located in the COC office in Toronto located at ON at 250 Yonge St. Suite 3000.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES AND PRIORITIES:

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Foundation Donor Programs

Support the COF's Annual Giving fundraising efforts through benchmarking and analysis, as well as the development, planning and execution of a digital marketing strategy Assist in the execution of athlete awards including administrative support, scheduling reveal calls, and reporting to donors Assist in database management, including preparing mail, email lists and analysis Support the COF's Development team with prospect management and research, as required Support the planning and execution of stakeholder events

Digital Marketing and Data



Supports Digital Product ecosystem maintenance (Website, App, Email, Olympic Club) Contributes to user experience improvements across all Digital Products Manages Olympic Club fulfillment (prizing, gamification and Fan of the Month executions)
Assists in the execution of Email newsletters Helps with email subscriber list management and inbox maintenance Aids in email inbox clearing and forwarding of messages Builds fan engagement content experiences using provided tools Assists social media and written digital content creation efforts Supports Analytics measurement, tracking and reporting efforts for COC, COF and partner campaigns

QUALIFICATIONS AND CRITICAL SKILLS:

Must be enrolled in a Canadian degree or diploma program in Business, Sport Management, Fundraising or relevant field An understanding of fundraising methods, CRA regulations, campaigns and fundraising best practices is an asset Interest and experience in digital marketing as a practice Knowledgeable and passionate about sports and Canadian athletes Self-starter with ability to work effectively individually and in a team Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously Bilingualism (English and French) is an asset Social Media interest and savviness is an asset Creative and innovative thinker with experience creating digital content Strong writing skills and attention to detail Ability to work in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Familiarity with the Olympic movement is an asset

This full-time internship will run from approximately May 2026 to August 2026, depending on the successful intern's availability and the academic calendar.

COMPENSATION
This is a paid internship. The intern will earn an hourly wage of $18.00 with a maximum of 35 hours per week.
