About the team you are joining



We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Intern to join our Corporate Finance team in Montreal. This internship offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in accounting and finance within a global organization. The Corporate Finance team offers an environment where you will be encouraged to learn, grow, and think outside the box bringing innovative solutions to problem solving. The successful candidate will assist with various accounting tasks and projects, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of our financial operations.



What your day would be like


Support the accounts payable, accounts receivable and revenue management processes. Assist in performing functions within the monthly financial close process, monitor timely completion and escalate issues for resolution. Take ownership of assigned operational responsibilities, ensure timely and accurate completion, and manage workload of assigned areas in a deadline focused environment. Collaborate with team members on special projects and process improvements. Demonstrates continuous effort to increase business acumen by proactively learning full business process of assigned areas. Consistently increase knowledge and become a highly effective user of all financial systems and policies.


We would love to hear from you if


Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting. Communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, with internal and external stakeholders. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. Self-starter and ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficiency in Office 365 applications, particularly Excel, and SharePoint. A university degree (minimum of a Bachelor's) obtained within the past 12 months in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with desire to pursue professional accounting designation (CPA).
