Job Description

We have an immediate opportunity for an Intern Architect to join our team! This position is based in either our Surrey, Kelowna or Victoria locations.

What You'll Do

As an Intern Architect you will:

Assist in the

development of design concepts

through sketches, diagrams, and digital models Prepare and coordinate

design development and construction document packages

Contribute to the preparation of

permit submissions

, including development permit and building permit packages Translate conceptual ideas into

technical drawings, plans, elevations, and details

using Revit Participate in

code reviews and research

, helping ensure design compliance with local and national building regulations Support

contract administration tasks

, such as reviewing shop drawings and RFIs under supervision Collaborate with the project team in

consultant coordination

and internal quality control Prepare visual presentations using

SketchUp, Photoshop, Enscape, or Lumion

Attend project meetings and take part in client communications and design discussions Take initiative on tasks and demonstrate the ability to assume responsibility for

small components of a project

under the guidance of a registered architect

What you Bring

Technical & Professional Skills

High level of proficiency in

Revit and Bluebeam

(Windows platform) Experience with

SketchUp, Photoshop, Lumion, and Enscape

is a strong asset Familiarity with Canadian building codes and permit processes

Education & Experience

Architectural degree

from an accredited institution

3-5 years

of experience in an

architectural office in Canada

Registered with

, or

eligible for registration with the AIBC

(mandatory)

Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 (based on experience)
