THE ROLE
We are actively looking for an Intern Analyst, Strategic Initiatives Delivery, to join our team in September 2025, for a 4-month internship (September 2025 - December 2025). This role will be part of a growing and dynamic SID team, reporting into the Senior Director, Delivery Practice & Portfolio Reporting, SID. The incumbent will work closely with Project Managers, Portfolio Managers, and Program/Portfolio Directors to develop and communicate plans for execution of various initiatives. You will collaborate and build relationships with a wide array of stakeholders from across the organization.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an undergraduate student to gain valuable work experience in a fast-growing, dynamic environment while being a part of a new pension plan.
This role is based in downtown Toronto under a hybrid work policy, allowing employees the flexibility to work remotely and in-office (approximately two days per week in-office).
SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES
Improve portfolio management through the creation of live dashboards for project portfolio metrics and financial reports
Capture and summarize project data to create portfolio level reports
Analyze project trends, developing insights, and identifying and acting on areas for improvement
Generate, update, and analyze financial plans including monthly rolling forecasts, latest estimates, baselines, and working versions
Investigate and pilot various process & tools for improved portfolio management and capacity planning
Assist department team members with other delivery and practice duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Pursuing an undergraduate degree, in Business, Commerce, Finance, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field, or related Masters' program
Proficient in Office 365 Tools
Data analytics & visualization skills a plus
Possesses basic knowledge of and a keen interest in project organization and execution
Excellent oral communication skills and professional writing
