This is a full-time summer internship lasting from May 11, 2026, until August 28, 2026.



Job Summary




The Intern, Accounting is responsible for supporting CN's Accounting Department, including Accounts Payables, Accounts Receivables, Revenue Management, Financial Reporting, and Accounting Development. CN's Accounting Department is a cross-functional team of over 200 professionals responsible for accounting operations and financial reporting. The team ensures the highest level of integrity for the organization's accounting records and is engaged with every function to control costs, maximize revenue and cash flow, and support CN in achieving its financial objectives.


Major Responsibilities


Participate in special projects and system testing Perform various analyses and reconciliations Create checklists and procedure documentation Identify opportunities for process improvements
Requirements


Fluently bilingual both written and verbal (English, French) Excellent communication skills Planning and organization skills Deadline focused and results oriented Knowledge of Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, and Access
Experience in a call center, collections agency, collection of receivables


Education


Working towards a College or Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or equivalent Any experience/education/skills/knowledge for these above would be considered as an asset
