About the role

• Full Accounts Payables (A/P) Cycle: Administer Invoices and check reconciliations
• Provide customer service support to internal clients, suppliers, and customers
• Support monthly payment reconciliations
• Produce A/P listings and reconciliations, including monthly variance analyses
• Performs a variety of general accounting support tasks
• Monthly General Ledger (GL) Account Reconciliations
• Month End close responsibilities
• Prepare cheque runs and deposits and wire transfers
• Prepares accounting entries for submission in Statutory Accounting Principles (SAP) and/or Quantum.

What you bring to the role

• Candidate must be available for at least 12 weeks as of January 2024
• Must be enrolled in a University level accounting / finance program.

Additional skills desired for the role

• Student registered to an university co-op program is preferred
• Knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite
• Additional specialized training in specific aspects of job functions and/or demonstrated ability to perform assigned tasks
• Relevant work experience
• Ability to work both independently and part of a team
• SAP and/or Quantum Experience
• Bilingual (English & French).
