Full Accounts Payables (A/P) Cycle: Administer Invoices and check reconciliations
Provide customer service support to internal clients, suppliers, and customers
Support monthly payment reconciliations
Produce A/P listings and reconciliations, including monthly variance analyses
Performs a variety of general accounting support tasks
Monthly General Ledger (GL) Account Reconciliations
Month End close responsibilities
Prepare cheque runs and deposits and wire transfers
Prepares accounting entries for submission in Statutory Accounting Principles (SAP) and/or Quantum.
What you bring to the role
Candidate must be available for at least 12 weeks as of January 2024
Must be enrolled in a University level accounting / finance program.
Additional skills desired for the role
Student registered to an university co-op program is preferred
Knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite
Additional specialized training in specific aspects of job functions and/or demonstrated ability to perform assigned tasks
Relevant work experience
Ability to work both independently and part of a team
SAP and/or Quantum Experience
Bilingual (English & French).
