Candidates with at least

one year of current tractor-trailer experience

are encouraged to apply, and prior experience at Montreal's ports is considered an asset.

Please note that we employ our drivers directly rather than as contractors.

Intermodal drivers are responsible for the movement of containers from the ocean port and railyards in Montreal to various destinations in eastern Ontario and Quebec. Drivers will pick up loaded containers from Montreal and deliver them to various customers or drop lots then return to the ports with empty or loaded containers. Most deliveries are live unload with a driver often staying hooked to the same chassis for several days at a time. These positions allow drivers to return home to Ingleside each night. Safety and patience are key considerations, as drivers will be spending time in congested and busy rail yards with large equipment.

Opportunity Details:

Verifiable Class-1/AZ work experience in Canada or the US is required. Preference given to those with 1+ years. 6 am to 6 pm Monday to Friday and enjoy your nights and weekends at home!
