Intermediate/Senior Technologist (Revit and AutoCAD)Location: Greater Hamilton, ON AreaWork Type: Hybrid (3 days home); Potentially remote for the right candidateAbout the Opportunity:City Build Recruitment is thrilled to recruit for our client\'s rapidly growing architecture firm. Key Responsibilities:

• Design and Drafting: Utilize Revit and AutoCAD software to create detailed architectural designs, drawings, and plans. Ensure accuracy and compliance with project specifications and standards.
• Building Science: Apply advanced knowledge of building science principles, including building envelope detailing and construction methods such as concrete, steel, and timber framing.
• Project Coordination: Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to coordinate project phases, ensuring seamless integration of various elements and adherence to timelines.
• Technical Documentation: Prepare and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including construction drawings, specifications, and schedules.
• Quality Control: Conduct quality control reviews of design and construction documents to ensure consistency, accuracy, and compliance with codes and regulations.
• Site Visits: Perform site visits to monitor construction progress, address any issues, and ensure alignment with design intent.
• Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve technical challenges that arise during the design and construction phases.
• Client Interaction: Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs, present design solutions, and provide updates on project progress.
• Mentorship: Provide guidance and support to junior technologists, sharing expertise and fostering a collaborative team environment.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years experience for Intermediate Technologist
• 5+ years experience for Senior Technologist
• Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD
• Extensive experience in building science
• Expertise in building envelope detailing and various construction methods
• Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Able to come to the office or to site when necessary
